Later this month the Spanish Department of the University of Auckland are organising a conference entitled "Historical Crossroads: Spain from the Second Republic to the 21st Century" with a range of participants from Spain, France, the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and New Zealand.
Yours truly will be giving a paper entitled "Exile and the problem of Spanish national identity in the work of Juan Goytisolo". The full list of conference speakers and abstracts is available here. Final timetable TBA.
